We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team in a heavy industrial environment. This role involves mechanical maintenance, service, repairs, and assembly of conveyor systems, structures, and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out mechanical fitting tasks including alignment of gearboxes and motors, laser alignment, fitment and removal of couplings, and general assembly of conveyor equipment and components.
  • Perform machining tasks using lathes and milling machines.
  • Work in a safe and quality-focused manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • A trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Welder.
  • Minimum 3+ years' mechanical fitting experience.
  • General machining experience.
  • Previous experience working in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and focus on quality.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working overtime if required. You must have a current/valid Forklift ticket and basic Dogging or Rigging ticket (desirable). A strong communication and interpersonal skills is necessary.
