Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing office or onsite activities to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and in accordance with objectives.
  • They will ensure that projects run according to project plans with appropriately skilled staff available at required times to complete tasks.
  • The role involves leading a team of engineers and technical support personnel in completing assigned scopes.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree from a recognized tertiary institute or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience working in mining and minerals studies and/or projects.
  • EPCM/EPC experience including supervision of contractors and field personnel is desirable.
  • Previous experience in process plants and mining projects in operations or construction is essential.
  • Substantial exposure to project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment.
