Disability Support Worker Job Opportunity">

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have experience working with adults and children with high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern, as well as providing individual capacity building skills. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, using your communication and problem-solving skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene
  • Support clients with high intensity needs, including behaviours of concern
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to develop and implement individualised plans
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities
">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • At least 2+ years' experience working as a disability support worker
  • Experience working with adults and children with high intensity support needs and behaviours of concern
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families and other professionals
  • Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Vaccinations (including COVID), CPR & First Aid, right to work in Australia, 100 Points of ID, Driving Licence and access to a reliable car
