
Student Support Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in fostering the academic and personal growth of students. We are seeking an innovative and compassionate individual to join us in delivering exceptional student support services.
Job Description:

Responsibilities Include:
- Innovate data capture management systems and develop subsequent intervention strategies to enhance student outcomes.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, community and elders, providing input into local decision making to ensure optimum outcomes.
- Liaise with families and conduct home visits to encourage school attendance and motivate students.
- Liaise with students and families to recognize any educational, social, emotional or behavioral issues, providing timely interventions to address these concerns.
- Work within a team-based management approach as a contact for students, families or community members regarding any concerns.
A Mandatory Requirement of this Role is:
Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 - In accordance with this Act, a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless they hold a current Working with Children Check clearance issued by Blue Card Services.
