Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead environmental approvals for large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing approvals across multiple jurisdictions, with a keen interest in supporting decarbonization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for environmental approvals, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects, utilizing technical expertise and project management skills.
  • Contribute to proposal development, including the creation of technical scopes and cost estimates.
  • Direct and monitor project management activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or science, or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in environmental approvals/permitting and/or management, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with state and local governments, with knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to synthesize data and communicate effectively.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
