We are seeking a seasoned Sourcing Manager to join our team at Accommodations Plus International. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for our airline clients, working closely with hotel partners in assigned markets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage hotel sourcing projects, performing market research and developing industry knowledge to identify trends and cost drivers.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, negotiating with hotels and ground transportation providers to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Work with Account Managers to build sourcing strategies, identifying opportunities to run reverse auctions and expedite sourcing.
- Research and analyze market trends to develop fit-for-purpose sourcing strategies and create high-quality evaluation reports in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, articulating sourcing results and adapting to changing market conditions.
- Update and track information in Salesforce, ensuring accurate and timely data management.
- Arrange site inspections for Account Managers and API clients, as needed.
- Minimum of two to three years' experience in a procurement role, with at least two years in a global role dealing with global suppliers and markets.
- Minimum of two years' travel industry experience, working closely with airlines and/or hotels is preferred.
- Strong English fluency, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Result-driven with a problem-solving mindset, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse cultures and adapt to changing market conditions.
