Structural Engineer
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mining and heavy industrial projects, as well as proficiency in ANSYS for structural analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structural analysis and design for mining infrastructure using ANSYS and other engineering software.
- Perform FEA for stress, fatigue, and stability assessments of structures.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, mechanical, and geotechnical engineers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sectors.
- Proficiency in ANSYS for structural analysis and FEA simulations.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards.
- Strong understanding of steel and concrete design principles.
