We are seeking a Senior Research Officer to join our team. As a Senior Research Officer, you will play a key role in supporting high-impact major research initiatives by overseeing the application, submission, central administration, and management of large-scale grants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with faculties and institutes to develop competitive major grant applications, providing strategic guidance on proposal development, costing, and compliance.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will review and provide feedback on major grant proposals to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with grant award guidelines.
  • Your expertise will be utilized to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our major research initiatives processes by staying up-to-date on trends and best practices in research funding, proposal development, and grant management.
Requirements:
  • A degree is required, with subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience and specialist knowledge in technical or administrative fields.
  • You must have demonstrated experience working in a busy, complex, administrative environment as part of a hardworking and collaborative team.
  • Experience interpreting policies, guidelines, and procedures, reviewing and editing documentation against eligibility requirements, and providing clear, concise advice or constructive feedback to clients is essential.
