Medical Device Administrator

Job Opportunity:
A medical device administrator is needed to work under general direction, undertaking specialist tasks and supporting a team of medical device assessors.
Key Responsibilities
- Making decisions with some autonomy relating to the role and area of speciality.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on administrative and operational matters.
- Undertaking Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
- Reviewing manufacturers' evidence.
- Performing research and analysis activities.
- Providing assistance to medical device assessors where required.
- Providing advice and education to stakeholders within policy constraints.
- Ensuring quality assurance on reconciling payments and invoices.
Essential Requirements
- The ability to research and analyse legislation and regulatory guidelines, making recommendations based on evidence.
- The ability to supervise lower classification levels, including monitoring work practices, setting priorities, and developing local procedures.
- The ability to resolve moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area.
