Job Title: External Security Vetting Team Leader

As a senior security professional, you will oversee the handling of complex personal security clearance processes across multiple levels.

You will be responsible for evaluating clearance cases with precision and managing a sophisticated process. You will also be accountable for quality assurance, enforcing stringent controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and providing informed advice on clearance outcomes based on data analysis.

The role requires extensive experience in vetting within government or similar high-security environments, including a minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, and a Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting). Leadership experience is also essential, as well as the ability to mentor and lead a team of skilled security analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess clearance cases with attention to detail.
  • Manage a complex process of personal security clearance.
  • Enforce strict quality controls on PSFs.
  • Provide sound advice on clearance outcomes based on data analysis.
Requirements:
