Your primary focus will be on creating engaging content that showcases our club culture, identifies target market segments, and develops lead generation strategies. You will work closely with our Marketing team to analyse content creation opportunities and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with our brand objectives and resonates with our target audience.
2. Create engaging content that captures club culture, drives interaction, and reflects current trends through a mix of organic and paid social media.
3. Analyse online feedback and messages, and respond accordingly to maintain a positive brand image and deliver memorable experiences for patrons and members.
4. Collaborate with the Football department to determine social content required for upcoming announcements, including video content, media releases, and celebration pieces.
5. Attend special events, game days, and team training sessions as required, and participate in interstate travel when necessary.
6. Liaise with various teams and departments within the organisation to identify content creation opportunities.
7. Engage with our customers online by sourcing, planning, and scheduling content across multiple platforms.
Requirements
1. Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role developing social media content and online communications.
2. In-depth knowledge of managing social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, along with an understanding of paid social advertising.
3. Skilled in video editing tools for mobile-first platforms, such as Reels and TikTok.
4. Highly efficient with digital software, including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, and Asana.
5. Understanding and strong interest in photography and videography.
6. High attention to detail.
7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
