We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team as a Machinery Maintenance Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our plant equipment through preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out regular maintenance checks and perform routine servicing tasks
  • Complete all required maintenance records and documentation
  • Maintain fixed plant equipment (including Alert baler, Copex baler, and sleeve loader)
  • Perform repairs and breakdown maintenance on mobile plant, forklifts, and trucks
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Fitter & Turner or Heavy Diesel Fitter
  • Confident with basic welding and fabrication skills
  • Current driver's licence
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment (desirable)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Safety-focused and committed to high-quality work
