Key Infrastructure Project Engineer Role

 

Work on high-impact infrastructure projects, combining technical skills with project management expertise to deliver complex capital works and maintenance initiatives.

The role involves:

  • Assisting in the planning, investigation, and delivery of capital works and maintenance projects across port assets (civil, structural, mechanical, and marine)
  • Supporting the preparation of technical documentation including reports, drawings, specifications, and contract materials
  • Contributing to project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and contractor coordination
  • Undertaking site inspections, audits, and condition assessments under the guidance of senior engineers

To be successful, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Marine preferred)
  • Strong technical foundation and understanding of engineering principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Project desirable)
  • Full Australian work rights and a valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to undertake fieldwork and site inspections
