Our childcare organisation is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified sports coach to lead our children's soccer and tag-rugby classes on the Central Coast.

We have been providing fun and imaginative based activities for children aged 18 months to 8 years old for over 13 years. Our weekly schedule includes approximately 38 classes, which are designed to teach fundamental sports skills while also improving listening skills, colour recognition, social interaction, and overall well-being.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be reliable, organised, and confident when interacting with young children. Excellent communication skills and physical fitness are essential. You will also require a full driving licence and a car to travel to various locations across the coast.

A basic understanding of the sports and ability to perform basic skills are necessary. While previous high-level playing experience is not required, any experience working with children would be beneficial. We offer comprehensive training for all coaches, and we encourage individuals studying teaching or early childhood studies to apply.

The position is casual, with working hours ranging from 4-15 hours per week. However, we strive to maintain a consistent team and offer regular hours for our coaches. In addition to face-to-face sessions, we have developed an online platform for session delivery, which may provide opportunities for additional working hours. Weekend availability is a requirement.

We offer competitive hourly rates above award pay.
