Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that support carers of individuals living with dementia
  • Use a coaching approach to empower carers with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to maintain their own wellbeing
  • Work collaboratively with the team to foster a culture of best practice, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Travel around the ACT visiting carers and their families to provide support and guidance
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care/Dementia Practice or equivalent qualification, knowledge, and experience
  • Experience providing support to, and advice about dementia to people living with dementia, their family, and carers
  • Experience with service development, planning, and reporting
