Business Process Automation Specialist

This role offers the chance to play a key part in automation projects that support vital public services across Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise automation opportunities.
- Conduct process assessments and feasibility studies to ensure efficient solutions.
- Develop detailed documentation, including PDDs, BRDs, user stories, and requirements.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for RPA developers to deliver effective results.
- Support optimisation and continuous improvement efforts throughout the automation lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and developers to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Participate in solution design reviews, UAT sessions, and process walk-throughs to guarantee quality outcomes.
- Monitor automation performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Provide training and support through effective change management processes to drive successful adoption.
- Blue Prism Analyst certification is required for this position.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related discipline is necessary for success.
- Previous experience in government sector RPA projects is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of RPA concepts, lifecycle, and governance is essential.
- Proficiency with process mapping tools such as Visio, Tango, and PRIME is a must.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
- Experience presenting, running workshops, and facilitating discussions is an asset.
- Exposure to other automation platforms like UiPath and MS Power Platform is beneficial.
- Change management knowledge is crucial for driving successful implementation.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies is advantageous.
