Job Title:

Diverse Talent Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with educational institutions across Australia to identify and attract high-achieving students for various university programs.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to design and implement targeted recruitment strategies, leveraging events and communications to drive applications.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including career advisors, teachers, and senior education officials, to promote the university's offerings and pathways.
  • Develop and execute a range of high-quality student recruitment initiatives, encompassing events, online content, and community engagement, to meet strategic recruitment goals.
  • Recruit and engage students for La Trobe University's Aspire Early Entry Programs and Pathways, focusing on the Mildura campus area.
  • Represent the institution at select recruitment activities, conferences, and exhibitions, promoting its academic programs and research opportunities.
  • Present information to diverse audiences, including secondary school students, TAFE students, career advisors, and internal stakeholders, tailoring communication styles to meet their needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, accompanied by at least 4 years of subsequent experience or extensive management expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within small teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and events, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Superb presentation and public speaking skills, with experience in adapting communication styles to suit various audiences.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard office hours as required.
  • Flexibility to undertake varied tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
