Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Ensure our stores are always stocked, visually appealing, and meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Support your colleagues to achieve their best, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate department signage and pricing, ensuring our customers have the information they need to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Organise weekly banking and cash handling, ensuring our financial transactions are accurate and secure.
  • Create rosters for your team, ensuring we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Provide support and training for new employees, helping them to settle in and become valuable members of our team.
  • Assist with customer enquiries, providing solutions and answers to their questions and concerns.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working and shopping environment, adhering to our high standards for health and safety.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have previous experience working in retail, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and results.
  • Will be customer-focused, passionate about good food, and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Will have excellent communication skills, be flexible in availability, and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
  • Will have previous experience as a supervisor in a busy food retail store, with a strong understanding of cash handling and banking procedures.
