Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Operations Officer to join our team.

This is a key role that requires strong operational implementation, project management, and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement the Parks and Visitor Services works program, including capital projects and maintenance programs.
  • Assist with financial planning and expenditure control within our district.
  • Undertake prescribed burning and bushfire suppression operations.
  • Update and maintain the district Visitor Risk Management program and databases.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of natural land management or a closely related field.
  • Leadership and team management experience, with high self-motivation and organisational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for liaison with external organisations.
  • Project management, contract management, budgeting, and expenditure control experience.
