Occupational Therapist - A Fulfilling Career in Healthcare

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team, working with older adults in a person-centred and evidence-based approach that prioritises continuity of care and long-term outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments of clients and develop individualised care plans that promote independence and functional abilities.
  • Perform regular reviews using appropriate outcome measures, ensuring effective communication of client outcomes at relevant clinical meetings.
  • Promote health promotion and well-being for both residential and community clients, focusing on reablement approaches to service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wellness Reablement approaches to service delivery in community aged care.
  • Experience in group program development, facilitation, and evaluation is desirable but not essential.
