Mediix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to join our team in Sydney. As a Speech Therapist at Mediix, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities- Client Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals.
- Therapy Sessions: Provide high-quality therapy sessions to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, and document client interactions and treatment plans.
- Client Education and Support: Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree in Speech Pathology and registration with the Speech Pathology Association of your country.
- Experience: Proven experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills, and a desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
- Competitive Remuneration: $77,000- $125,000 per year + super (negotiable based upon experience and qualifications).
- Professional Development Opportunities: Continuing professional development opportunities, including a $1000 professional development allowance per year.
