The Accounts Receivable Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This key position significantly impacts the company's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding people and organisational matters at all times.
- Ensure seamless completion of banking and allocation processes, adhering to stringent deadlines.
- Generate invoices and account statements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency across financial records.
- Handle general data input and maintain comprehensive accounts receivable files and records.
- Produce accurate and timely monthly financial reports.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries efficiently.
- Assist in overall financial management and analysis.
- Liaise with internal staff and external customers to address concerns or discrepancies effectively.
- 2-3 years demonstrated experience working as an Accounts Receivable Officer in a high-volume function, with a proven track record of success.
- High proficiency in data entry, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently.
- Deep understanding of the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, debt collection, and account reconciliation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated competence with the Microsoft Office suite of products and processes relevant to Accounts Receivable.
- Current Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children).
- National Police Check (organisation may consider the relevance of any reported outcomes).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or a willingness to obtain one.
