Education Support Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our team in creating engaging learning experiences for students.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide routine support for teachers, including assisting with planning student routines, supporting communication between teachers and parents, and communicating with teachers on routine matters related to students.

This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, other education support class staff, and external providers to ensure students receive the best possible support.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing basic physical care and wellbeing support for students
  • Communicating with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information
  • Addressing immediate behavioural presentations relating to specific students within a classroom setting
  • Providing basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting
  • Supporting teachers in the coordination of educational programs

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess a commitment to professional learning and growth.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong organisational skills, patience, and the ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
