Overview of the Role

CQR is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our bustling front desk team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients scheduling and attending appointments at our comprehensive facilities, which offer services ranging from X-ray and Ultrasound to MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be the first point of contact for patients, warmly welcoming them at the front desk.
  2. Handle cash transactions and manage patient accounts, including Medicare and health fund processing.
  3. Participate in staff meetings and engage in company training sessions.
  4. Adhere to established procedures, policies, regulations, and standards relevant to the position and the Radiology Department, including workplace health and safety protocols.
  5. Communicate effectively with referrers, medical professionals, and patients regarding the delivery of medical results.
Candidate Profile
  1. Experience in medical, dental, allied health care, hospital, or radiology front desk operations is highly valued.
  2. Ability to comprehend medical terminology.
  3. Familiarity with booking systems and strong computer proficiency.
  4. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a focus on patient care - be approachable and friendly.
  5. Demonstrate integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions.

This position offers full-time hours, requiring 38 hours per week with shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Fridays. Please note that weekend shifts may be requested.
