Delivering Business Value Through Data-Driven Insights

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Insights Professional to drive business value through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in working with large and complex data sets, utilizing tools such as Power BI to create actionable insights.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management strategies, including data collection, storage, preservation, and utilization for further processing. They will also possess excellent knowledge of Power BI, with expertise in DAX queries and ETL and BI data modelling.

This role requires a tertiary degree in analytics, statistics, computer science or a related discipline. Knowledge and experience of the HR/People function will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate and manipulate People data in Power BI using DAX queries and functions aligned with best practices ensuring data quality.
  • Maintain regular reports and processes, including the Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) practice for Data Lake through the integration of different data sources.
  • Build and maintain dashboards using enterprise-standard tools, Power BI, and modern visualization standards and techniques to support insights and storytelling.
  • Providing impactful insights on People data to key stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision making.

About You:
  • A tertiary degree in analytics, statistics, computer science or a related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of Power BI, with experience in DAX queries and expertise in ETL and BI data modelling.
  • Advanced use of Excel and data analytics.
  • Knowledge of data management strategies including data collection, storage, preservation, and utilisation for further processing.
  • Excellent data interpretation skills including the ability to deliver clear, targeted, and impactful insights.
  • Ability to develop clear and succinct data visualizations for supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Strong ability to extract insights from data.
  • Previous experience accessing, manipulating, and interpreting data to inform decision making.
