About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our finance team as an Assistant Accountant. This is a full-time permanent role based in Adelaide CBD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Work closely with program teams to gather necessary documentation and information for billing.
  • Assist with income receipting and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with accounts payable processes as required.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts.
  • Provide assistance during month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in invoice processing and accounts payable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Technology One Financials (desirable)
  • Previous experience working in non-profit sector (desirable)
