Mediix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our team as a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for managing a generalist workload in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: You will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring that all patients receive the highest level of medical attention and treatment.
- Lead and Mentor Colleagues: As a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist, you will be expected to lead and mentor junior medical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Participate in Clinical Governance: You will be responsible for participating in clinical governance activities, including quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research projects.
- Develop and Implement Clinical Policies: You will be expected to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with the latest medical research and best practices.
- Collaborate with Other Healthcare Professionals: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and allied health staff, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Medical Qualifications: You must hold a medical degree and be registered with the Medical Board of Australia with Specialist registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
