Job Summary

The role of a Credit Risk Specialist is to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors, and transaction structures.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to identify risks and provide reasonable solutions, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough credit risk assessments of various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, leveraged finance, and trade finance.
  2. Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  3. Prepare and present comprehensive credit due diligence reports, rating recommendations, risk alert assessments, and ongoing monitoring of credit performance.
  4. Collaborate with business functions to facilitate the credit application and approval process.
  5. Provide guidance on mitigating potential risks associated with customers, industry sectors, and transaction structures.
  6. Other tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3-5 years of experience in analyzing structured transactions.
  2. Independent decision-making skills and ability to identify risks with reasonable solutions.
  3. Ability to write comprehensive due diligence reports.
  4. Tertiary degree in commerce, business, or finance.
  5. Good knowledge of corporate finance and institutional banking products.
  6. Proficiency in MS Excel for financial modeling, data manipulation, and analytics.
  7. Excellent verbal and written language skills; proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is desirable.
