Design and Engineering Coordinator

- As a key member of the engineering team, you will assist senior engineers in managing the design delivery process by coordinating technical partner designs across multiple disciplines.">
- You will ensure the active engagement of construction personnel during design development, providing a line of communication between site personnel and the design team.">
- Responsibilities include planning and procurement of design to ensure achievement of project objectives and KPIs, monitoring design documentation progress against the program, and elevating key issues to senior management.">
- You will input to the SiD process and temporary works design as required, manage the RFI process, and initiate and manage Design Changes where required.">
- Additionally, you will coordinate with design package leads to develop safe, sustainable technical solutions and identify opportunities for improved sustainable outcomes.">
- You will work in conjunction with the design manager in the development of design budgets and schedules, understand design compliance and reporting procedures and processes, and coordinate the interaction of project members in the design delivery process.">
- This includes design, construction, planning, estimators, community, and stakeholder participation.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- A tertiary qualification in engineering, science, building construction, or equivalent is essential.">
- Working towards chartership with Engineer's Australia or equivalent is desirable.">
- Post-graduate experience in engineering-based roles is advantageous.">
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.">
- Basic knowledge of contractual, legal, commercial, and legislative compliance is necessary.">
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.">
