At our establishment, we're committed to making every day exceptional. We seek an Assistant to work in a dynamic food service environment, collaborating with chefs and other staff members to deliver excellent dining experiences for residents.

About the Role

This permanent part-time position involves working on a fortnightly roster, requiring attention to detail and efficient food preparation skills. You'll provide kitchen support under the direction of senior staff, ensuring meals are prepared within designated timeframes and meeting high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering all food service activities to residents, including serving meals, dining room set-up and clearing
  • Undertaking basic food preparation tasks under senior staff supervision
  • Cleaning and storing equipment, washing and storing food and utensils, and conducting inventory as required
  • Maintaining professionalism at all times, communicating effectively with colleagues and being a team player who can take initiative
