A successful career in insurance requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and a strong ability to manage risk.

As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the insurance portfolio of our organization, ensuring that coverage aligns with business needs and obligations.

  • Manage the insurance portfolio by analyzing policies and identifying areas for improvement
  • Coordinate insurance for construction projects, including contract negotiations and pricing discussions
  • Oversee annual property valuations and ensure compliance with levy and audit requirements
  • Review and refine insurance policies to balance risk, operations, and contractual commitments
  • Liaise directly with external insurance brokers as the subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance and negotiating coverage
  • Monitor insurance spend and performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and risk reduction
  • Lead the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely reporting, documentation, and resolution

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or the right to live and work in Australia
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance
