Systems Administrator Job Description

The primary role of the Systems Administrator is to oversee and optimize the UKG Pro platform. This involves monitoring system performance, conducting regular maintenance tasks, and ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance (patching), and optimize for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Vendor Liaison & Updates: Serve as the technical contact with vendors, managing updates, patches, and feature releases.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Handle platform-related incidents and user issues, collaborating with vendors for resolution when necessary.
  • User Access & Role Management: Manage user onboarding, and training for the platform. Configure and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), enforce security protocols, and ensure appropriate access levels.

Requirements:

  • Experience with UKG Pro (or similar systems) including the ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and server administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage incidents effectively.
