Job Description:">

We work closely with employers, apprentices, trainees and the community to create opportunities, increase uptake and provide support throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle.

">

In this role, you will be providing mentoring to apprentices and trainees to help and support them to complete their training. You will also work with women in non-traditional trades to mentor them into employment.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • ">
  • Provide mentoring, support and individualized assistance to help apprentices remain in meaningful, sustainable employment.">
  • Assess apprentice and employer barriers that may affect retention and liaise with the team to implement appropriate support plans.">
  • Assist apprentices to access crisis support and other resources if and as required.">
  • Liaise with stakeholders such as RTOs and external service providers to assist in identifying early intervention needs and support issues to achieve positive training outcomes.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications:">

You will ideally have:

  • ">
  • Experience of the Australian Apprenticeships Support Network program - desirable but not essential.">
  • A confident communicator - ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience.">
  • Strong problem-solving ability - helping others find solutions.">
  • Ability and willingness to demonstrate experience of mentoring and supporting others.">
  • Ability to work with a diverse range of people.">
