Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Campaigner to maintain and enhance our online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy that aligns with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and manage our digital strategy to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Create innovative online content for day-to-day publishing, campaigns and supporter engagement
  • Source and develop high-quality graphics, video content and other materials for social channels
  • Collaborate with parliamentary advisors on materials and posts
  • Assist with digital campaigning tasks including email campaigning, training employees and staff regarding digital best practices
  • Create engaging social media advertising content
  • Meet our digital KPIs for posting and continued improvement of reach
  • Collaborate with members of Federal government offices on policy announcements and content initiatives
  • Collaborate with progressive organisation professionals on key campaigning projects
  • Digital Insights weekly reporting to stakeholders
  • Comply with employment laws and internal policies
Essential Skills:
  • 5+ years' experience in digital campaigning or social media management
  • Excellent content creation skills for digital platforms
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, iMovie, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro and graphic design tools
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms including Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Reporting and presentation skills
  • Critical thinking and judgement
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and exercise discretion

  • Basic knowledge of web development languages such as HTML and CSS
About the Role:

This is a full-time appointment based in Canberra or Sydney, reporting to the Digital Director within our organization. The position requires strong digital campaigning and social media expertise.
