About the Role

Lycopodium is seeking a highly skilled Project Delivery Specialist to join our team of project delivery experts. As a Project Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and providing technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, execution, and handover of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and his team to ensure the quality of deliverables aligns with project, company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow project-specific and company procedures, work practices, plans, and protocols to maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
  • Assist with procurement, inspection, and expediting activities.
  • Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, prioritizing safety, environment, community, and quality.
  • Assist in regularly maintaining the project schedule and budget, including change management.
  • Undertake investigations and prepare reports as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Participate in the Project Quality Management process, including carrying out inspections at vendor's premises and reviewing vendor quality documentation.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of post-graduate engineering experience in the heavy Industrial, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Manufacturing sectors.
  • PMBOK or equivalent project management qualification is favorable.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders both written and verbally across different cultures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
  • Ability to travel as part of Project requirements, including being based on national and international sites from time to time, as per Company Policies.
