**Community Engagement Coordinator Role Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Community Engagement Coordinator to join our Customers Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to work with social housing tenants and communities, strengthening connections and empowering tenants to become involved in their local community.

The successful candidate will lead the planning and facilitation of community engagement events, support the operation of local tenant groups, and conduct tenant surveys, workshops, project planning, management of social media, reporting, and other engagement activities.

This is a full-time permanent role based across our offices sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community-focused projects and services.
  • Plan and facilitate community engagement events and activities.
  • Support the operation of local tenant groups.
  • Conduct tenant surveys, workshops, and other engagement activities.
  • Manage social media and report on engagement metrics.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience in community development.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to SGCH region sites and offices.
  • Ability to use community development tools and develop community activities and services.
  • Strong customer service, organisational, time management, prioritising, planning, communication, and digital literacy skills.
  • Business acumen and social heart, self-motivation, compassion, and resilience to manage competing priorities and stakeholders.
