Marine Service Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Engage in projects related to wind cranes, marine equipment, and LSA products, collaborating with local service partners as necessary.
Ensure timely service attendance by coordinating closely with agents and superintendents upon receiving mobilization directives from the service coordinator. Prepare all necessary materials, spare parts, and tools, and collaborate with the superintendent to establish a preliminary work plan before job initiation. Execute service and commissioning tasks as per customer requests, adhering to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines to deliver high-quality and efficient service. Work in conjunction with the service coordinator, sales manager, and superintendent to address any issues identified during service execution and develop solutions for resolution. Conduct precise measurements on-site to assist the spare parts team in identifying specifications when needed. Accurately document service reports and checklists, ensuring the proper issuance of certificates and any other required documentation. Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager and superintendent on work plans in partnership with local service providers when necessary. 2. Provide support for service activities related to wind cranes and other marine product lines across Australia and New Zealand.
3. Enhance technical communication within the APAC marine sector.
4. Improve response times, involvement, and oversight in Australia and New Zealand.
5. Elevate the reputation and awareness of PM services among customers in Australia and New Zealand to strengthen market presence.
6. Maintain effective management and oversight of service operations in Australia and New Zealand.
7. Undertake additional projects as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong academic background from a technical institution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the marine, offshore, and maritime sectors, including LSA service and commissioning.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Availability for frequent travel.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
