Certis Security Australia is a leading provider of integrated security solutions for businesses and organisations across various industries. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Patrol Officer to join our team.
Job SummaryThis role involves guarding one of our social housing facilities to provide protection to tenants and other users. You will be responsible for proactively identifying and managing threats, performing patrols of the interior and exterior of the building, investigating and reporting incidents, supervising and escorting contractors and vendors, and assisting with ad hoc concierge duties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform regular patrols of the facility to ensure the safety and security of tenants and other users.
- Investigate and report any incidents or security breaches.
- Supervise and escort contractors and vendors as required.
- Assist with ad hoc concierge duties, such as answering phones and responding to queries.
- Monitor CCTV systems to ensure the security of the facility.
- Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in Corrective Services, Hospitals or similar.
- Current Security Licence (1AC).
- Ability to work a 6am-2pm roster.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other stakeholders.
- IT literacy skills.
- Ability to write cohesive reports.
