About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director to join our People Strategy and Workforce Planning Branch. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee experience and outcomes for participants, families, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop strategic improvement processes to drive continuous improvement and increase efficiencies.
  • Coordinate responses to strategic risks and significant issues.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and provide technical support to resolve business-specific issues.
  • Support and develop structured insights, identify priorities, and provide recommendations for strategic projects.
  • Develop and interpret policy and strategy while maintaining an understanding of sensitive organisational and political issues.
What You'll Bring

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for continuous improvement and collaboration, as well as co-design and strategic thinking skills. You will have prior leadership experience leading a team to achieve Agency goals and objectives.
