Trainee Role

As a Trainee in our organisation, you will complete a Certificate IV in Business - Customer Engagement qualification over 24 months. This comprehensive program includes formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver services in a timely and efficient manner, consistent with our vision, mission and values.
  • Undertake administrative work to support service delivery as required.
  • Build strong customer relationships by establishing rapport, recognising diverse customer needs, motivations and preferences, and adapting your approach to ensure a positive experience.
  • Utilise records, information and knowledge management systems effectively to support informed decision-making and efficient work practices.
  • Serve customers effectively by applying a clear understanding of relevant policies and procedures to deliver the right services through the appropriate channels.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show commitment to completing the full term of the traineeship and study requirements.
  • Demonstrate intermediate experience using technology, including computers, telephones and software packages.
  • Display strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise duties and multitask.
  • Show confidence in handling challenging situations and resolving enquiries in a calm and focused manner.
  • Be flexible and adaptable during times of change, contributing to the team's strategic goals.
  • Successfully pass a National Police Check.
  • Be committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
