Clinical Specialist

Job Summary:
The Clinical Specialist is a key member of the Masimo Clinical Team, responsible for supporting Masimo Products and maintaining customer relationships with clinicians and stakeholders in large hospital systems. This role requires a proactive approach, working in partnership with internal and external customers to achieve sales objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Masimo Technology and Products.
- Coordinate equipment needs for implementations with the ANZ Clinical Manager.
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities and OEM partners to ensure successful transitions to Masimo Products.
- Work with the Management Team to secure resources for projects.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Masimo customers to meet or exceed their expectations.
- Present a positive and professional image reflective of the Masimo Corporation.
- Conduct and assist the Sales Team with physical inventories as part of the Masimo sales process.
- Prioritize and plan independently, as well as with sales and CS team members, to meet company goals and attain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify specific customer needs before, during, and after implementation, and provide solutions.
- Conduct demonstrations and evaluations for Masimo Technologies.
- Document customer interactions using the Masimo Customer Relations Management Tool.
- Consult with healthcare partners and clinicians to identify solutions that deliver optimal care at a lower cost.
- Work with the account manager to develop and execute a strategy to support customer strategic initiatives.
- Consult on workflow solutions to minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
- Uncover opportunities to expand Masimo solutions.
- Meet territory sales objectives with the account manager.
- Develop and maintain ongoing partnerships with Masimo customers to meet or exceed their expectations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and product support.
- Perform project management, lead clinical specialist, or clinical specialist resource roles for on-site implementations and projects.
- Perform special projects as requested.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a medical device industry or hospital environment.
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be PC literate.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Must meet current state and/or professional license requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of critical care or related clinical experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Track record of creating close client relationships and being seen as a trusted advisor.
- Registered Nurse.
Education:
Registered Nurse preferred.
This position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, making frequent customer contact on a daily basis. It requires frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds). Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in facilities. Must be able to travel extensively (both domestically and locally), so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver's license is required. Must have a valid Driver's license with a driving record that meets company's insurance requirements.
