Join us in a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to conservation and public land objectives across NSW. As a Senior Project Officer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering complex acquisition initiatives that align with our strategic direction.
We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong track record in managing compulsory acquisition programs in accordance with relevant legislation. Your attention to detail and commitment to governance across safety, cultural heritage, environmental considerations, and project management will be critical to your success.
- Extensive experience managing land acquisition and transfer programs within tight timeframes and budgetary constraints, complying with legislative framework requirements.
- Extensive experience in analysis, problem-solving, and project management with a proven ability to identify issues and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a project consistently deliver high-quality customer service against agreed performance standards.
- Degree or equivalent qualifications in law, property valuation, land economics, or other relevant property-related discipline and/or equivalent professional experience.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Officer, you will:
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for compulsory land acquisition programs.
- Navigate emerging project challenges and support the development and execution of initiatives that align with defined plans, budgets, timelines, environmental goals, and priorities.
- Provide high-level strategic advice and insights to stakeholders.
- Manage a project team and ensure efficient and effective outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced leader who can bring expertise in providing high-level strategic advice and insights to stakeholders. You should have a strong track record in managing compulsory acquisition programs and be able to navigate complex project challenges.
