Logistics Supervisor Role Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team in SEQ Quarries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company fleet of drivers and heavy vehicles, overseeing Contractor Management, and developing strategies to improve internal and external customer experience.

This role involves supervising all activities of the tipper fleet, ensuring safety, operational, and CoR compliance with our values and strategic plan.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient computer skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Driver and Fleet Management: Driver recruitment and retention, incident investigations, inspection of job sites to ensure safe delivery.
  • Equipment Operation: Ensuring equipment is operated within safe working conditions, meeting environmental and legislative requirements.
  • Driver Performance Review: Reviewing and managing driver behaviours and performance to our standards.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conducting safety/toolbox meetings and regulatory audits.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with our Customer Service and Allocations teams to ensure maximum output of the fleet.
