Tile Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled tile installer with trade qualifications to fill this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine plans and mark surfaces for the work
  • Prepare walls and floors by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
  • Lay down adhesive evenly onto prepared surfaces and set tiles in position
  • Cut and shape tiles using specialized tools for edges, corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
  • E nsure tiles are correctly aligned and spaced
  • Grout tiles, clean, and remove excess grout

Requirements:

  • Relevant certification in tiling
  • A current white card
  • At least 2 years of full-time tiling experience

This role requires relevant skills including laying floors made of granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar compositions, and creating mosaics with colored tiles in patterns.
