The Opportunity

A new capability is being established within the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation to centralise Australia's highest-level security clearance functions. Successful applicants will play an instrumental role in building this new capability, which is at the forefront of efforts to protect Australia from espionage and foreign interference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to vetting assessments in line with whole of government policy and ASIO security policies.
  • Represent ASIO and liaise with stakeholders and clearance subjects from diverse backgrounds.
  • Support ongoing policy reform and vetting capability development.
What You Will Do
  1. Work in a team environment to support vetting activities.
  2. Record vetting activities, liaise with clearance subjects and external stakeholders.
  3. Undertake data entry, perform general administrative duties, and respond to queries.
