Pivotal executive leadership position at Nillumbik Shire Council.
This role involves contributing to the region's look and feel through exceptional project and service delivery, creating value by leading innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Leading a diverse team across Capital and Infrastructure, Recreation and Leisure, and the Operations Centre, taking an innovative approach to providing essential services.
- Embedding a continuous improvement mindset and building a culture of safety, innovation, and customer-centricity across the Council.
The Chief Operations & Infrastructure Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and provide strategic direction across a Directorate focused on delivering exceptional service outcomes to the community.
Key Requirements:
- A qualified engineer with proven experience leading operations or infrastructure functions to deliver exceptional results.
- Executive-level experience within a service delivery environment, whether in Local Government, State Government, Utilities, Consultancy, or another aligned sector.
- A passion for excellence in service and project delivery, and a desire to innovate to ensure the best possible outcomes for the Council and the Nillumbik community.
