Job Title: Academic Leadership Role

This is a key leadership position that oversees our academic operations at a Sydney CBD campus.

  • Overall Academic Oversight:
    • We are seeking an experienced leader who can ensure outstanding quality of learning and teaching, with a strong focus on student progression and experience.
    • The successful candidate will promote professional development and growth, empowering staff to realise their full potential.
    • They will continually review and improve processes and procedures, embracing innovation from both internal and external sources.
  • Academic Team Management:
    • We require a leader who can model and encourage clear communication, upholding a collaborative and supportive ethos among the team.
    • They will inspire optimum staff performance, facilitating continuous professional development and embracing diversity and staff contributions.
    • A respectful and collegiate culture will be nurtured and celebrated.
  • Academic Delivery and Resourcing:
    • The successful candidate must ensure academic delivery meets customer expectations within regulatory compliance.
    • They will stay updated with industry trends, sector shifts, and innovations.
    • Active participation in the broader ELT profession and SIGs is essential, representing and promoting ILSC.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Development of academic strategy and procedures, contributing to global curriculum and assessment renewal.
    • Contribution to teacher recruitment process and local/national initiatives supporting core values and strategic goals.
    • Liaising with other departments within ILSC Education Group.
