Are you a skilled Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-time Radiology Nurse to join our team at South Coast Radiology (SCR) on the Gold Coast.

As a Radiology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our radiologists and technical staff. Your duties will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a high standard of care and service to patients, technical staff, and radiologists
  • Ensuring Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace
  • Admission, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures
  • PICC line insertion (training will be provided)
  • Working across multiple Gold Coast locations
  • Sound knowledge and application for post-procedure care, recovery, and discharge
  • Participating in an on-call roster

About You:

  • Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration
  • IV Cannulation experience preferred
  • Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals
  • Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial

About the Role:

This is a Part-time opportunity for a Maternity Leave contract, with a 3-day working week. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy private clinic and hospital radiology department, expanding your skills and experience.
