About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at South Coast Radiology (SCR) on the Gold Coast. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our radiologists and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and service to our patients and radiologists
  • Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are always understood and observed in the workplace
  • Admission, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures
  • PICC line insertion (training will be provided)
  • Working across multiple Gold Coast locations
  • Sound knowledge and application for post-procedure care, recovery, and discharge
  • Participate in an on-call roster

About You

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration and a strong background in radiology or a related field. Your skills and experience should include:

  • IV Cannulation experience preferred
  • Advanced Life Support preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations and effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals
  • Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial
