Lead Power Generation Solutions Manager

The position is responsible for overseeing the coordination, execution, and management of temporary power generation rental solutions. This hands-on leadership role ensures the safe and efficient delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rental equipment in field environments such as construction sites, events, utility outages, or emergency deployments.

This involves managing all aspects of field delivery operations for power generation rental equipment, including generators, transformers, load banks, and associated electrical distribution gear. Leading a team of field technicians to ensure reliable and on-time installation and setup of power solutions is also key.

Collaboration with sales, logistics, and service teams is essential for planning and delivering tailored customer solutions. Conducting site assessments, determining appropriate equipment sizing and configurations, and overseeing field installations are critical tasks.

Maintaining compliance with safety standards and company policies during transportation, setup, and operation is crucial. Managing inventory and readiness of equipment, tools, and vehicles required for field operations, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues onsite, are other important responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in power generation, electrical distribution, or equipment rental services.
  • Proven leadership experience in field service operations or project management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel and natural gas generators, load banks, HV transformers, and temporary power systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-lines, and site plans.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with QHSE, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with service scheduling and fleet management software.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to customer sites.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Experience in emergency response or rapid deployment power services.
  • Electrical trade certification.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Customer-first mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
